Royal Enfield has always been a brand associated with classic motorcycles, but with the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, the company is moving towards a modern bobber-styled bike. After the success of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, this is another addition to the 650cc lineup. Designed for riders who want bold styling, strong performance and a unique road presence, the Shotgun 650 is set to become one of the most attractive premium motorcycles in India.

Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Engine and Performance

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, air and oil-cooled engine that produces around 47 bhp at 7,150 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5,250 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch for smoother gear transitions. This same engine has already proved its reliability in the Interceptor and Continental GT, so riders can expect strong mid-range performance and effortless cruising. The Shotgun 650 is expected to reach a top speed of around 160 km/h which makes it suitable for both city rides and long highways.
